Keichousaurus Geopark Museum

Xingyi Geopark keichousaurus fossil site is a national popular science base and also serves as a teaching and research internship base for paleobiology at the School of Earth and Space Sciences, Peking University. In recent years, the Land and Resources Bureau of Xingyi City, the management office of xingyi Geopark, and Peking University have carried out fruitful cooperation, exploring some successful experiences and practices to promote the protection of paleontological fossils and scientific research. According to the document "Reply to the Change of name and other matters of Guizhou Geological Archive" compiled by the Provincial Party Committee (Guizhou Editorial Office issued [2020] No. 142), the purpose of the museum is to carry out the exhibition of museum collection, protection and research and management of geological data archives, and provide services for economic and cultural construction, natural resources management and the people.
