KEICHOUSAURUS GEOPARK
Xingyi Geopark keichousaurus fossil site is a national popular science base and also serves as a teaching and research internship base for paleobiology at the School of Earth and Space Sciences, Peking University. In recent years, the Land and Resources Bureau of Xingyi City, the management office of xingyi Geopark, and Peking University have carried out fruitful cooperation, exploring some successful experiences and practices to promote the protection of paleontological fossils and scientific research. Functional responsibility
According to the document "Reply to the Change of name and other matters of Guizhou Geological Archive" compiled by the Provincial Party Committee (Guizhou Editorial Office issued [2020] No. 142), the purpose of the museum is to carry out the exhibition of museum collection, protection and research and management of geological data archives, and provide services for economic and cultural construction, natural resources management and the people.

DIACHRONIC EVOLUTION
Historical evolution
Guizhou Dragon Fossil In-situ Protection Museum is located in Nimaigu Village, Wusha Town, Xingyi City. It was built with an investment of nearly 100 million yuan by Xingyi Municipal People's Government in May 2016. Covering an area of 310 mu, it was excavated and protected by Xingyi National Geopark Management Office in cooperation with Peking University in 2011. The fossil excavation site covers an area of 1500 square meters, and the fossil excavation working face level is about 600 square meters.
